After another successful hack session on the shuttle ride home, yourmuni now lets you just look up any given stop on the spot without creating a bookmark. Now you can has the best of both worlds all on one site. Up next is adding other regions/agencies covered by nextbus (easy, probably done by the end of this week while I ride the shuttle) and an API.
Site is at http://yourmuni.appspot.com
Latest code is at Github

your urls are so unreadable. what does http://yourmuni.appspot.com/nb/catchstop/California-Northern/sf-muni/16AX/16AX_OB2/5323 mean? The muni only exists in california, so what’s all this California-Northern/sf-muni stuff???
GOD!!!
Hah well A. you should never really need to use those URLs. If you have a bus you look up frequently, just make a bookmark. B. the URLs are actually perfectly READABLE, just long. C. the reason for keeping the regions and the agencies in the URL is because the next release will let you track anything and everything nextbus has to offer, as well as let you set your default region/agency. If you ever ride MIT’s shuttles, you’ll even be able to use it!
Glad you used my idea for the new homepage layout with bookmarks above the regular lookup. It works great.
